High Schools in Montgomery County Start too Early
High schools in Montgomery start at 7:25 AM, preventing many students from getting the amount of sleep they need. Sleep deprivation has adverse consequences for health, safety, and school performance. But there is hope. WAKE UP!, an organization of parents, students, and teachers, is working for scheduling changes that will allow students to get more sleep. Join us! Come to the next WAKE UP! meeting and get involved. Together we can improve education for our children.
